Ripon's historic downtown district is just two blocks from campus and is filled with boutique shops and restaurants.

You can head to Mugs Coffeehouse to study, grab wood-fired pizza at Knuth's Brewing Company, and even catch a movie with friends at Marcus Campus Cinema, the original theater in the Marcus chain, that featured $5 admission year-round.

Although students don't often attend class in Smith Hall, they may visit Smith to connect with our Office of Constituent Engagement about an upcoming Career Discover Tour or learn about available internships with Ripon alumni.

Throughout the year, the city of Ripon hosts numerous festivals, concerts and other activities.

Our students work, volunteer and serve as active participants in what happens in our town.
